Love your job

As a dancer who loves all styles, there is a wonderful variety in music and choreography. I love sharing the joy of dance with my classes, and watching as participants progress in their confidence. I was quite nervous to teach at the start and now it’s my favourite time of the week!

FAQ’s

  • Professional Dancers
Take control of your career whether you are in paid professional dance work or not. Be paid to teach and train at the same time. Enjoy the flexibility that teaching on your own terms can offer while also bringing in a steady income stream.

Fitness professionals with a dance background
If your existing fitpro weekly timetable is filled to the brim with high impact classes that leave you permanently hungry, Flowetic could be the perfect antidote. Get back to your dance roots and challenge yourself with a class that focuses on health, strength and wellbeing to a soundtrack of incredible music.

    Dance Teachers
Flowetic would make a perfect addition to any existing dance focussed timetable. Teaching Flowetic means the work is done for you giving you the time to focus on the most important aspect of your job, your students.

  • Ideally, yes. We think it’s important that our instructors have a solid foundation in dance in order to be able to adequately teach others. Our pre-requisites are that you hold one of the following qualifications:

    • Dance diploma/degree (minimum 2 year requirement)

    • Full time professional dance training (minimum 3 year requirement) at an accredited dance school, college or university

You will be asked for qualification certificates before being accepted onto the training.

  • If you don't meet the pre-requisites above, don’t panic! We also recognise that there are some wonderfully talented dancers out there who may not necessarily have any formal dance or fitness training, but who would make great Flowetic instructors. If you think you fall into this category, you will need to make a separate application in one of 2 ways:

    1. Send a CV or detailed description of work and experience within the professional dance/dance teaching industry to info@flowetic.co.uk

    2. Online video submission. Applicants must perform one continuous dance fitness routine or fully choreographed dance routine to music. The routine must be at least 3 minutes in duration and sent to info@flowetic.co.uk

  • There are 2 main ways to teach Flowetic:

    1. Set up your own classes in your local community - if you’re charging a recommended minimum £10 per class fee and achieve 10 participants in each class, you could be making £400 per month by teaching just 1 class a week! You keep 100% of your class earnings.

    2. Teach Flowetic as part of an existing gym class timetable and you could be making anywhere from £25-£50 per hour depending on which part of the UK you are based.

  • Gyms, leisure centres, school halls, church halls, dedicated dance studios - you name it - if there’s space to move, there’s space to dance!

  • The Flowetic online instructor training is completely FREE (provided you meet our strict eligibility requirements) and then costs £20 per month to become a member of the Flowetic Instructor Academy which contains everything you need to become a successful Flowetic instructor.

Once you pass the Flowetic training, you are not obligated to teach Flowetic and this monthly subscription fee can be cancelled at any time - ideal for professional dancers who may be in and out of work.

  • Once you are a trained Flowetic instructor, your £20 monthly membership (you can unsubscribe at any time) includes everything you need to create and grow your Flowetic classses:

    • Licence to use the Flowetic name and logo

    • Flowetic branding and marketing materials

    • Good quality images and videos for use on your own social media channels

    • Promotion of your classes via the Flowetic website

    • Access to all new Flowetic choreography online

    • Support, tips and guidance from Flowetic Founder, Fiona

    • Attendance (either online or in-person) of a Flowetic class taken by Flowetic Founder, Fiona.

    • 3 hour Zoom online training session

    • Pre-recorded video assessment

Please note: If you do not pass the training, you will not be able to teach Flowetic.
