Beki is a dance teacher, performer, choreographer, promoter and Event Manager.

Beki (Bex) has a huge passion for dance which shines through in all she does. Along with her clear teaching abilities, technical knowledge and a sense of fun and enjoyment, she has a long list of dancing achievements. She is a qualified dance, salsa and exercise to music teacher and is a Zumba® Fitness Instructor. She holds a BA HONS in Visual Communication – Graphic Design as well as IDTA, ISTD and Central YMCA qualifications.

Beki always rises to a challenge and has successfully taught many couples, individuals and groups to dance, even those who claim to have no rhythm and two - or even three - left feet!

Beki has had much success teaching couples and groups dances for their wedding days using many different requested dance styles and has a keen interest in choreography. Beki enjoys incorporating different styles in her choreography for the shows, workshops and events she is involved in.

Beki has been dancing since she was 3 years old and started her teaching career at the age of 17, teaching children (ages 3-16) tap, modern and Jazz. She then went on to teach adult classes in jazz, contemporary, hip hop and street dance. She has been a guest teacher in London, Cambridge and all over Kent at weekend and day events and for one off workshops and national talent shows. She has also choreographed and taken part in many shows, flashmobs, demonstrations, performances, music videos and musicals, large and small, including Grease, Little Shop of Horrors, Birmingham Arts Fest, 'Create', Cambridge Afro Cuban Salsa Festival and the film ‘Cuban Fury’ (starring well known actors Nick Frost, Ian McShane, Chris O'Dowd and Rashida Jones).

Beki has continued her studies in dance with various dance companies including DanceXchange in Birmingham, Natalias’ Dance Academy in Kent, The Place and Pineapple Dance Studios in London to name a few. She now has a huge array of dance styles which she dances and most of which she teaches to a high level.

Beki’s passion for dance led her to set up her own Dance Company in 2008 which is Dance Visions and this has proved to have an ever growing team of teachers, dance classes, workshops, events and much more, she has never looked back!

“Dance is my passion and I have been lucky enough and blessed to have had the pleasure of working with lots of amazing dancers and choreographers and amazing creatives in my life whilst being able to pursue something I love, whether it is through performance, choreography, training, events or regular classes in all forms of fitness and dance styles and I look forward to many more years of giving back to people and helping them learn, enjoy and be inspired by the, fun, healing, joy, magic, passion and creativity dance can evoke inside of you.”
